A large inpatient hospital is seeking a psychiatrist for locum tenens coverage.
Exploring the charming downtown areas of small towns, attending local festivals, and enjoying outdoor adventures like kayaking on the Ocmulgee River are just a few of the fun things to do in Middle Georgia.
The position will be full-time, Monday through Friday. The psychiatrist will treat adults only, and they will be needed in the forensic unit. An active Georgia license is needed for this assignment. The psychiatrist will be rounding on roughly 15 patients per day on the forensic unit. Credentialing takes about 2-3 weeks.
