A residential treatment facility with an outpatient program is seeking a psychiatric nurse practitioner for locum tenens coverage.
This facility is located about an hour north of Atlanta, GA.
A nurse practitioner is needed for 20 hours per week with flexible scheduling. The role involves seeing 8-10 adult patients per day, including some Active Duty personnel and Veterans. Responsibilities include conducting initial psychiatric evaluations and follow-ups with medication management. Prescriptions may include mood stabilizers, antipsychotics, anti-anxiety medications, and antidepressants.
