Schedule:

PRN: 7-5 shifts; Call schedule: 5p-8a
Details:
Call rotation: 1:3
Reason for need: for bench strength
Average number of patients per day: 10-15
Patient Age Demographic: Adolescent - Geriatric
Total number of beds: 28 adult, 8 adolescent
Child/adolescent ages to be seen: 8-17
Ages 8+
PA will be working autonomously
Supervising Physician present during assignment: YES, in some instances, the psychiatrist is remote via telehealth
EMR: Cerner
Level III Trauma
Credentialing Timeframe: 30-90 days

Required Duties:
Diagnose
Performing Admission Histories and Psychiatric Assessments
Performing Physicals
Performing Rounds
Ordering and Interpreting Diagnostic Studies
Prescribing Medications
Managing Ongoing Care Through Consultation with the Psychiatrist
Ordering Referrals
Administrative Duties
Coordination of Care
Addiction Education/Management

Facility Reimbursement:
Flight
Hotel
Rental Car
Mileage Billed at the IRS Standard Rate

Submission Requirements
Board Certified - REQUIRED
IA license or IMLC - REQUIRED (can accept providers needing to obtain the license)
No new grads - REQUIRED

Board Certified
