Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Children & Teens - Assessment Focused

Job description

• Conduct intake assessments and prepare test plans with new patients
• Administer screening and diagnostic instruments
• Conduct thorough and comprehensive intake sessions
• Conduct assessments for cognitive abilities (IQ/Gifted Testing), emotional, and social challenges. Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, behavioral and academic challenges
• Assessment/ psychological report writing
• Case load of approximately 3 assessments with report per week (full-time)
• Opportunity for supervision
• 504 / IEP support
• Maintain required documentation
• Maintain CEUs and annual license renewal

Qualifications
• A passion for helping children with a variety of challenges including anxiety, trauma, learning disorders/disabilities, ADHD, ASD, OCD, behavioral challenges, and social difficulties.
• Experience providing psychotherapy and psychological assessments to children and/or teens.
• Experience with parent and family sessions
• PsyD. or PhD. in clinical psychology from an accredited university
• Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Virginia or actively seeking licensure
