Role Description
This is an independent contract role for a Licensed Mental Health Provider at MOUNTAINEER PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES. The Licensed Mental Health Provider will be responsible for providing mental health assessment, diagnosis, and/or treatment services to a diverse group of clients. Clinicians may provide individual, group, couples or family therapy. This is a hybrid role, located in Morgantown, WV, with flexibility for some remote work.
Office staff, comprehensive billing services, telemedicine platform, testing support, and EHR are provided in a beautiful space with supportive colleagues.
Face-to-face, telehealth, and hybrid opportunities are available.
Steady referral streams for therapy and evaluations with children, adolescents, and adults.
Credentialing support provided.

Qualifications
Licensure as a Mental Health Provider (e.g., Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist)
Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
Experience providing mental health assessment and treatment services
Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds
Malpractice coverage and background check required
Specialized practice (e.g., ability to perform psychological evaluations) or training/certification in particular modality (EMDR, PCIT, ERP, CBIT, etc.) will be prioritized.
