The Psychiatrist manages mental health care and provides appropriate treatment services to diagnose and assist Adults with mental illness. This is a Part Time, 1-2 days a week, very flexible position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Possess a current Florida Medical License.
Satisfactorily completed resident training of four (4) years in general psychiatry at a recognized graduate medical institution and has a valid DEA License.
General Psychiatry, have experience with Adult patients.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Perform diagnostic evaluation on adults with mental health disorders, make diagnoses, and prescribe appropriate treatment recommendations.
Evaluate patients and comply with all the requirements.
Completes required documentation for all clinical services provided and maintains up-to-date clinical records. Uses the electronic medical record and electronic prescribing program approved by the agency.
Coordinates the delivery of clinical treatment services with other clinicians and support services staff.
