About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Full-Time Board-Certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team in Los Angeles, CA. This outpatient position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality mental health care to children and adolescents, addressing a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. The ideal candidate will have experience in child and adolescent psychiatry and a passion for helping young patients thrive.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and treatment to children, adolescents, and their families in an outpatient setting
Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications in collaboration with other healthcare providers
Deliver psychotherapy (individual, family, and group) using evidence-based practices tailored to young patients
Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor progress for patients
Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, including psychologists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
Stay current with the latest research and best practices in child and adolescent psychiatry
Qualifications:
Board-Certified Psychiatrist (BC) with a valid medical license in California
Specialization in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, with experience working in outpatient settings
Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care for children and their families
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly with children and parents
Knowledge of pediatric mental health conditions, psychiatric medications, and therapeutic techniques
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a collaborative team
