Facility in Ottawa, IL seeking Psychiatry locums coverage Rates: $280/hr Position Overview Specialty: Psychiatry Setting: Inpatient Psychiatry Role: Manage and treat patients with depression, bipolar disorder, alcohol abuse, and schizophrenia Work in a 22-bed mental health unit See 10-15 patients per day Conduct ~1 consult per day 7 days on, 7 days off schedule (Tuesday 7 AM – Monday 7 PM) 8 or 12-hour shifts in hospital (exact times TBD) Take call 3-5 days per week (off-site call allowed) Support Staff: Full team including nurses, case managers, therapists, and another provider EMR: EPIC Reason for Opening: Turnover Vacancy Schedule & Availability Start Date: TBD Shifts Per Month: 14 shifts (Full-time or Part-time options available) Call Schedule: 3-5 days of call per week Call can be taken off-site 30-minute response time required No admissions while on call Credentialing & Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry (ABPN Certified) – Required Active Illinois Medical License – Required DEA License – Required CSR License – Required Active ACLS Certification – Required Minimum 1 year of experience – Required Credentialing Timeframe: Standard Privileges: Up to 90 days About WhiteCoat Locums: - Physician owned and led agency - Highest-Pay rates on the market - $1m/3m malpractice insurance and tail - 100% transparency
