Psychiatrist Needed in Pennsylvania ASAP!!!!!

Position is only for future & potential per-diem shifts - Not Guaranteed*
Inpatient Psychiatrist Needed to See Adults in PA
• Full Time Inpatient Psychiatrists Needed with On-call
o 7on 7off; 24hr shifts
o Morning meetings at 8am onsite then consults until done (3pm to 5pm)
• On call
o Starts on Friday at 5pm to the following Friday at 5pm
o Take emergency call on a rotating basis on evenings weekends and holidays; batch calls overnight when possible
• Adults only (18 to Geriatric)
o 12 bed unit
 low volume of high acuity patients due to size
o Admissions typically take place after hours but have 24 hours to work them up; discharges and consults during the day
o Averages 5 consults a day
• Support staff
o Liaison Nurse team, 2 RNs, Psy Counselor, 3 LCSWs, and a Hospitalists
• EMR - Meditech, Expanse, and Dragon
• Credentialing: Doesn't take too long; application completion requires a series of online trainings and fingerprinting (from FBI)
o Travel expenses can be billed
• BC/BE within 18 months
