Facility: Faith-based, not for profit mental health agency located in Chicago’s North Lawndale community, providing clinical and psycho educational services to families from varying Chicago neighborhoods for the last 23 years. Opportunity: Therapist - MSW/LSW * Full time, employed position * Schedule: 24/5 program; flexible day or night shifts. 3 shifts per week with 1 4hr shift Temporary Schedule *Plans to upscale the mobile crisis program to 24/7/365 and schedule will be 40hr week with a flexible schedule with rotating weekends and nights. Must be able to accommodate a flexible full time schedule to meet the needs of the growing program. *Social Worker (MSW) will work with Program Supervisor to facilitate post crisis intervention and work with clinical case managers and community outreach specialists answering crisis calls in the community * Will service Cook County and Lawndale area Duties & Responsibilities: *Facilitate De-escalation, crisis assessments, safety planning and coordination/provision of stabilizing therapeutic services and work collaboratively with a dyad to provide services. *Assist with triaging crisis related needs * Provide crisis assessments, evaluations, and stabilization services to individuals, couples, families and groups in person or via telehealth *Implement therapeutic interventions aligned with best practices such as solution-focused brief therapy *Review and ensure the fidelity of intake appointments, client orientation and mental health assessments for IM-CAT training. Requirements: *3 years of Post Masters experience providing therapeutic interventions *Three or more years of experience working with patients exposed to trauma *Comfortable working with inner city communities *Crisis Experience is a plus *Master's Degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, community counseling, clinical mental health counseling, or a related field. *Valid driver's license, current car insurance and access to a motor vehicle is required.
