Looking for a small job to add to your plate, with an interesting population and an easygoing boss?
We need a licensed clinician (LGPC/LCPC, LMSW/LCSW, etc.) to conduct group counseling for domestic violence offenders. A challenging but fascinating population! Our ultimate goal, of course, is to increase safety for survivors of domestic violence; it's meaningful work.
Counselors lead weekly psychoeducational groups using a 22-week program model. Groups are held both virtually and in person in Rockville. (Groups may eventually return to being fully in person.)
This is a part-time position with current need for Mondays 5:30-7:00 PM and 7:30-9:00 PM (in person), and Saturdays 8:00-9:30 AM and 10:00-11:30 AM (online). Opportunities to pick up other groups may arise. Spanish speaking a plus!
