Summary:

In this pivotal role, you'll manage client caseloads, provide evidence-based therapy, and empower individuals on their path to recovery. Working under the supervision of a Licensed Primary Clinician, you'll utilize your skills in individual and group counseling, family psychoeducation, and discharge planning. We are looking for a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP-A/C) to join our team

Competitive salary range: $50,000 Estimated starting salary depending on related experience
Hybrid work schedule (Leesburg, VA): Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm with one evening per month virtually, hybrid.

What You'll Do:

Conduct individual and group therapy sessions.
Facilitate Family Psychoeducation groups to enhance support networks and family well-being.
Develop person-centered rehabilitation/transition plans, collaborating with clients to create a roadmap for success.
Ensure smooth transitions from in-patient care by providing discharge planning and coordinating after-care services.
Foster collaboration with other healthcare providers for comprehensive client care.
Utilize evidence-based interventions like Individual Resiliency Training (IRT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to promote wellness and recovery.
Conduct risk assessments and provide crisis intervention as needed.
Offer dual diagnosis support for clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges.
Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or nursing.
Two years of clinical experience working with individuals facing behavioral health challenges is preferred.
QMHP certification (preferred) or eligibility for QMHP certification.
Strong understanding of human development theories and mental health best practices.
Ability to work independently with excellent organizational skills.
In person work at times.
