Job description

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provides professional, independent, specialized mental health treatment to veterans in crisis and those experiencing a wide range of complex medical, psychiatric, emotional, behavioral, and psychosocial problems.
Possess advanced skills in working within individual, group, and family counseling environments providing various therapies used in the treatment of veterans with multiple co-occurring conditions.
Demonstrate advanced and expert skill in a range of specialized evidence-based interventions and treatment modalities used for treatment of Substance Use Disorders and other mental health conditions.
Use subjective and objective data in making clinical assessments of the veteran's needs. Uses advanced clinical training and experience to identify viable treatment options and makes appropriate referrals for care.

Requirements:
United States Citizenship
Masters Degree in Social Work
Current, full and unrestricted Social Work license from any US state or District of Columbia
2+ years of post-licensure experience working in Social Work clinical setting
