Clinical Social Work
Summary of work:
A Therapist at LSSI works within the office to provide therapy services for clients on both individual and groups basis. As a part of LSSI, our Therapists benefit from the overall support of LSSI’s systems, procedures, and structure, allowing them to focus on client care. Within the mission and impact of the agency, Therapists play a vital role in helping clients move toward family and financial stability and social, emotional, and spiritual wholeness. As a Medicaid partner, we are also able to work with clients who may not otherwise have the opportunity to participate in mental health counseling services.
Education and Experience:
•Master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or clinical counseling required.
•2 years of related clinical experience providing individual and/or group therapy
•Active Clinical License issued by the Indiana Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, and Mental Health Counseling Board as: Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) required.
•Willingness to complete EMDR training from an EMDRIA approved provider.
