Under the supervision of the Chief Executive Officer and President and in collaboration with the CCS Service Director (SD), the Mental Health Professional (MHP) provides guidance/supervision to CCS providers and reviews client services from a mental health lens.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
-Adhere to approved clinical license principles, methods, and practices, including the National Association of Social Worker’s (NASW) code of ethics.
-Authorization of services
-Immediate clinical supervision of Service Facilitators
-Develop, implement, and evaluate recovery plans and assessments with the recovery team. Evaluate the current DSM-V diagnosis and support staff in implementing an action step.
-Consult with community agencies and natural supports to maintain coordination and involvement in the treatment process.
-Maintain confidentiality of client-related information.
-Maintain skills and competence levels as policies and regulations change, attend department/staff meetings/training and participate in continuing education training as required.
