Medical Chair of Psychiatry Opportunity in Oregon!

Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center is actively recruiting for a Board Certified Psychiatrist to lead their Behavioral Health Center in Medford, Oregon at Asante as the Medical Chair of Psychiatry.

The Chair of Psychiatry will provide clinical and administrative leadership to a team of psychiatrists and advanced practice clinicians, as well as a robust support staff including social workers, clinical nurse specialists and other team members.

Responsibilities:

The Chair will be responsible for all aspects of the Department across all divisions, including growth, quality, and service education. The role is designed to be 50% clinical service and 50% leadership.

Lead a 24-bed inpatient unit
Crisis intervention services in the ED Consultation Liaison services
Development of other clinical programs
Sit on Asante Behavioral Health steering committee
This hospital position offers a very generous and market-competitive compensation plan with a starting salary range between $282,000 - $323,000 plus Bonus Incentive.

Qualifications:

Strong clinical leader with experience in leading psychiatry service line

Track record of driving improvements in quality and safety, with progressive leadership experience Provision of full range of psychiatric services to assigned patients

Licensed as a psychiatrist in the state of Oregon or able to obtain licensure

Board certified and must maintain certification

Must possess good interpersonal communication and leadership skills

Must complete a satisfactory background investigation
