Specialty: Psychiatric Medical Director (Inpatient)
Start Date: Asap (mid-Sept)
Contract Length: Will consider 3-6 months, but ideally long-term 6+ months
Shift Details: Mon-Fri 8a-5p, call not required but available, may be flexible with shifts/schedule, ideally can take call on weekends, but not required.

Work Details:
• Support staff: 1 doc during week and 1 PA
• Patients per day: inpatient avg census is 18 beds, avg stay of 6 days.
• Patient population/age: Adults only, no alcohol/drug primary cases
• EMR: Cerner, but his will change on June 2025. Transitioning to Epic
• Hospital bed size: 21 beds, 18 bed census (avg length of stay is 6 days (3-4 admits and 3-4 discharges per day)

• Skills required: Bread and butter adult inpatient. Providing some light oversight admin duties 10 hrs per month for intensive outpatient unit. Looking for someone that can spend some time with the patients. (No Suboxone). Provider must be in network for Medicare, and in TN network for Medicaid (or willing to enroll)
Practice Setting: Inpatient Unit, with light duties in outpatient unit
Requirements:
• Board Certification: Yes, general BC
• State license required: Yes, or IMLC (Facility checking on considering non-licensed
• Minimum experience required: 6 months, but flexible (not deal breaker)
Credentialing Timeframe: 2-3 weeks for temp privileges
