Psychology
The Staff Psychologist provides direct clinical psychological service to the UCR students and in support of the campus community. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide individual, couples, and group therapy to UCR students and prioritizes working with students from marginalized communities including Black/African American, Latinx, Undocumented, Indigenous/First Nations, Asian American/Pacific Islander, Multi-racial, and other students of color. This position provides crisis intervention services; consults with students, staff, and faculty; may serve as a supervisor for our APA accredited internship program; and serves on University committees, representing the CAPS department. The Staff Psychologist may also serve as a liaison and provides outreach to various campus communities. Degree Requirement Doctorate degree (Ph.D/Psy.D) in Clinical Psychology or related Psychology discipline Required
Licenses
License Requirement Current, valid license to practice Psychology in California (or other state licensure in parity with CA requirements). Must maintain CA licensure through the Board of Psychology and maintain UCOP credentialing/privileging standards. Required
